My Old China, a community history project made possible by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, has been exploring the social, cultural and industrial heritage of the area. Poet Steve Tasane has been ‘in residence’ on Lambeth Walk collecting memories from local people.
Most activites free:
Storytelling, live music, guided walk, face painting, jellied eels, pottery, tea and cakes, vegetable plants for sale, pearly king.
